Today’s article posted on HudsonValley360.com concerns us all. The Village Board was only recently made aware of the proposed project and we are looking into it further.
The Village Board discussed concerns over this proposed use at the February 12th meeting. To date no notification or request for use has been made to the Village. Mayor Bradicich has reached out to the DEC to ensure that local requirements are met. These local requirements include a special use variance for any industrial use application in mixed waterfront zoned property like this. This would require planning board approval as well as referral for review by the Waterfront Advisory Committee.
