We’ve got an ambitious agenda for next week’s public Village Board meeting! We’ll open bids for the Village’s annual lawn mowing contract in addition to hearing public comment on three proposed laws.
First, we’ll hear comments on a moratorium on special use permits and site plan review within the waterfront. This moratorium suspends development in the mixed use waterfront zone until our comprehensive plan update can be completed. Originally scheduled for late March, this hearing was postponed due to the pandemic.
Secondly, we’ll hear comment on a law establishing a conservation advisory council to guide environmental policy within the Village.
Finally, we’ll hear additional comment on the new draft of the short term rental regulation law that we discussed at the April public hearing.
All laws are available for review here.
The meeting will be conducted via Zoom. We’ll post the Zoom link at least one day in advance and the agenda will be available on this feed prior to the start of the meeting. All Village Board meetings begin promptly at 6:30pm.
In addition, you can submit comments regarding any of the proposed legislation with this form.
The form can also be accessed from the Village Code page and the Contact page.
