The Village Board will hold two public hearings at its October 28th meeting (6:30pm). The board will hear public comment on two proposed local laws.
The first extends the six month moratorium on special use permits and site plan review in the Village’s mixed use waterfront zone. This moratorium was passed earlier this year to hold off development while the Town and Village of Athens complete their update to the comprehensive plan.
The second law proposes changes to the parking regulations on N. Franklin St.
You can review both of these laws on the Village Code page. In addition, you can submit written comments on these proposed laws from the same page. Or you can submit from the contact page.
Details on meeting location and logistics to follow.
Thank you!
