We’ve seen a recent spike in Covid-19 cases in Greene County driven by the highly contagious Delta variant. So, the Village of Athens, together with the Athens Performing Arts Corp. , encourages all APAC concert attendees to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. Even though the concerts are outdoors, they draw large crowds. So, although we also encourage physical distancing, that may not be possible. Please mask up!
The CDC and the Greene County Department of Public Health are both recommending this action as well. Thank you in advance for adhering to this guidance.
If you haven’t already done so, please get vaccinated! The Greene County Public Health Department has a list of vaccine locations pinned to the top of their Facebook page. In addition, you can call them at (518)719-3600 to arrange a home visit for those who are unable to travel to one of the available locations.
